APAA 2021 is now Hybrid!
Following the extraordinary circumstances related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and after thorough evaluation of the emergency situation globally, the Organising Committee have decided to make APAA 2021 go ahead as a hybrid event. This decision has been made to ensure that the health and safety of all our speakers, delegates and stakeholders is prioritised above all else.
The Meeting will be held in-person at the Star Gold Coast and online via the OnAir virtual conference platform, from Saturday 23 through to Tuesday 26 October 2021.
Welcome to the Asian Patent Attorneys Association Council Meeting 2021 (APAA 2021).
The 2021 Council Meeting will be hosted at the Star Gold Coast which is located in the Broadbeach precinct, South-East Queensland Australia. This beach side location features more than 3,000 accommodation rooms and over 100 restaurants and cafés all within a short walk of the conference venue. Spring is the ideal time to visit the Gold Coast. With over 300 days of sunshine a year, the Gold Coast provides the perfect climate for exploration of its many attractions.
This meeting will bring together APAA members and observers from around the globe to discuss the latest developments, issues and policies in intellectual property law in the Asian region. As usual there will be a number of educational sessions and presentations delivered by leading practitioners in the industry which will provide members and observers with a chance to expand their knowledge of intellectual property law. And of course we have an exciting social program organised for attendees to interact with old friends and make new ones. Check back regularly for the latest updates on the meeting, or sign up to our mailing list.
We look forward to meeting you!
