Qantas is delighted to be the exclusive airline partner for the Asian Patent Attorneys Association Council Meeting 2021 being held in the Gold Coast, Australia. Getting to Broadbeach

Gold Coast Airport
The Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta Airport) is just 20 minutes by car to Broadbeach. Broadbeach is easily accessible by bus, taxi, tram and Uber. We recommend you aim to fly directly in to the Gold Coast Airport where possible. The Gold Coast Airport offers direct flights from New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and Japan. 
*Please note that the Gold Coast Airport does not have any airbridge access

Brisbane Airport
Brisbane Domestic and International Terminals are both connected to Broadbeach via Airtrain and tram. Airtrain services travel between Brisbane Airport and the Gold Coast every 15 minutes during the peak times. The travel time from Brisbane Airport to Broadbeach is between 1 and 1.5 hours by car, and can cost up to USD$120 by Uber.

Transfers will be arranged from Brisbane Domestic, International and Gold Coast Airports at select times. More information will be provided closer to the event.

All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia.  Welcome letters can be requested by emailing the Meeting Managers (contact details in footer of the website) following completion of registration.  For VISA information please download the following information factsheet from the Australian Immigration Office.

Note – it is strongly recommended that Australian visa applications are lodged at least two months prior to departure from your point of origin.
